Yet many rich men throughout the Bible were Godly, such as Abraham and Job.Īlso, there are parables in the Bible of forests talking to each other and even setting up rulers among them. If we take this saying literally we have some serious problems to deal with, first of all any rich men such as Abraham could not be saved because as far as I know no camel has yet been able to go through the eye of a needle. When Christ said it is easier for a Camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God He was using an allegorical sense and did not intend it to be interpreted literally.
